Spend your entire 4th of July in Danville’s River District!  Start the day at Lou’s Antique Mall (225 Main Street by JTI Fountain).  Lou’s will celebrate with an Open House from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Lou’s has 45,000 square feet of cool, hard-to-find items!  You can break for a free hot dog lunch some time between 12 noon to 3 on Main Street Plaza, just outside Lou’s doors.  Then, go back in and pick up where you left off.  Who knows what you’ll find?

You can also take part in fun events at The Crossing at the Dan.  From 2-3 p.m., Golden Leaf Bistro will sponsor the “All American Pie Baking Contest” at the Pepsi Building (661 Craghead Street).  From 6-10 p.m., the Carrington Pavilion (667 Craghead Street) will feature rides, food and fireworks.  Don’t miss the fun!
